Chhattisgarh Government Announces Key Appointments in Chief Minister’s Office

The order also relieves several officials from their respective additional charges, reshaping responsibilities across departments

TFP Bureau, Raipur; Dec 20,2023: In a recent announcement, the Chhattisgarh state government has appointed Dr. Subhash Singh Raj, a State Administrative Service officer, as the Special Duty Officer for Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai. The government has also made significant postings in the personal establishment of the Chief Minister, including Mr. Umesh Aggarwal and Mr. Ravikant Mishra as Officers on Special Duty, and Mr. Deepak Andhare as Personal Secretary.

The official order, numbered No. E-1-1/2023/Ek/2, further outlines the temporary appointment of Shri P. Dayanand, I.A.S(2006), Secretary of the Medical Education Department, to the position of Secretary, Chief Minister. Shri Dayanand will continue to hold the additional charge of the Medical Education Department. The order also relieves several officials from their respective additional charges, reshaping responsibilities across departments.

The key changes include the temporary posting of Shri Subrata Sahu, IAS, in the Chief Minister’s Office, relieving him of his roles as Additional Chief Secretary to the Honorable Chief Minister, and Additional Chief Secretary of various departments.

The restructuring of roles and responsibilities is part of the ongoing administrative adjustments to enhance efficiency in the functioning of the Chief Minister’s Office.
