TFP Bureau, Korba; Dec 21, 2023: BALCO Medical Centre (BMC) took a giant leap in cancer care with the unveiling of its state-of-the-art Daycare facility, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Arun Sao ji, on December 21, 2023. The facility, located near Colors Mall in Pachpedi Naka, Raipur, signifies a breakthrough in providing advanced cancer care in the heart of the city.
Equipped with eight chemotherapy units and cutting-edge amenities, the BMC Cancer Daycare Centre is dedicated to delivering personalized patient care. Services include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, sample, and report collection, OPD consultations, and comprehensive Cancer Support Services.
Built to international standards, the facility aims to serve patients not only in Raipur but across Chhattisgarh and neighboring states. Renowned oncologists will offer OPD consultations from 9 AM to 5 PM six days a week. The centre features an in-house café, catering to patients and their caretakers during treatment.
As Central India’s largest and most advanced cancer institute, BALCO Medical Centre in Naya Raipur will serve as the primary hub, offering 24-hour comprehensive cancer care services. The facility will provide advanced surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, PET scan, SPECT scan, HDT, LDT therapy, bone marrow transplant, ICU facilities, micro-incision surgeries, pain and palliative care, and 24/7 lab services, blood bank, pharmacy, call centre, and emergency services.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Chief Guest of the ceremony, congratulated the team on the successful inauguration. He emphasized the center’s role in the collective fight against the rising cancer cases, stating, “The world-class healthcare at BMC’s Daycare Center will be a beacon of hope for individuals grappling with cancer.”
Mrs. Jyoti Agarwal, Chairperson of BALCO Medical Centre, highlighted the centre’s commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility. She stated, “Our Daycare Centre, centrally located, aims to simplify cancer treatment, reducing travel hours and expenses. It brings normalcy and stability to patients’ lives throughout their cancer journey.”
