Tetki Yadav, a resident of Gram Panchayat Timnar in Narayanpur district, has become a living testament to the positive impact of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Yadav, particularly benefiting those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including women-led households.

As a farmer facing the challenges of low income, Smt. Tetki Yadav lived in a ‘kutcha’ house, which posed numerous challenges for her and her family. The dream of having a secure and permanent residence appeared elusive until she learned about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Sharing her journey, Smt. Yadav highlighted the financial struggles that hindered her from realizing the dream of a ‘pucca’ house. The ‘kutcha’ dwelling brought its own set of challenges, including leaks during the rainy season and dampness in the walls.

Subsequent installments flowed, culminating in the successful completion of her home.
