Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee Marks Congress Foundation Day on December 28

The national rally is slated to commence at Nagpur Dagouri on December 28, 2023, at 2 pm, marking a significant moment in the celebration of the Congress Foundation Day

TFP Bureau,  Raipur; Dec 27, 2023: The Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee is gearing up to celebrate the 139th Foundation Day of the Indian National Congress on December 28, 2023. A grand nationwide rally is scheduled to take place in Nagpur, drawing the participation of over 5 lakh individuals from across the country, including more than 25,000 from Chhattisgarh.

Highlighting the significance of the event, Sushil Anand Shukla, Chairman of the State Congress Communication Department, emphasized that the Congress Foundation Day is not only a celebration of the party’s inception but also a commemoration of its enduring ideology. As the world’s oldest political party engaged in the nation’s struggle for independence and subsequent development, the Indian National Congress plays a pivotal role in the democratic fabric of the country.

The celebration will kick off with the hoisting of the party flag at 9 am in every polling station, spanning district, city, town, and block headquarters across the state. Additionally, seminars and symposiums focusing on Congress’s history, ideology, achievements, and future vision will be organized at the district and block headquarters. Rallies and seminars will also be conducted, featuring the active participation of Morcha organizations, including Seva Dal, Mahila Congress, Youth Congress, and NSUI.

Sushil Anand Shukla further announced that a colossal national-level rally is planned in Nagpur on December 28, where prominent leaders of the Congress party, including the Congress President, Congress Parliamentary Party President, former Congress leaders, and senior party figures, will be in attendance. The event will also see the participation of local Congress Working Committee members, officials from the All India Congress Committee, state leaders, Members of Parliament, and the State President of the MLA Morcha Organization Cell department.
