TFP Bureau, Raipur; Dec 27, 2023: In a momentous ceremony, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai jointly inaugurated Agroha Dham, a sprawling social edifice constructed by the Agrawal Samaj in Raigarh. Spanning 6.40 acres in the city of Maharaj Chakradhar, Agroha Dham stands as the largest social building in Central India, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The inauguration event, held in front of Vrindavan Colony on Jindal Road, Raigarh, was orchestrated under the gracious auspices of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai.
Addressing the gathering, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla expressed gratitude for the inauguration of Agroha Dham, stating that Raigarh, being both an economic capital and a tribal area, holds a diverse and multi-dimensional society. He commended Chief Minister Sai’s political acumen and working style, expressing optimism that it would propel the state of Chhattisgarh toward progress.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, reflecting on the significance of the occasion, conveyed his appreciation for the inauguration of Agroha Dham in the esteemed presence of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. He acknowledged the proactive role of the Agarwal community in serving humanity, emphasizing that Agroha Dham stands as a testament to their commitment to social welfare. The Chief Minister assured that the government would extend full support for the construction of a hospital in the area.
Expressing gratitude for the trust and support received from the people of Raigarh, Chief Minister Sai highlighted the unbroken relationship he shares with the community, having served as their representative for 20 years. He pledged to fulfill all promises made for the development of Chhattisgarh.
Minister Brijmohan Agarwal lauded the service-oriented nature of the Agarwal community and underscored the importance of addressing the needs of the underprivileged in areas such as education, marriage, and healthcare. He urged collaborative efforts between society and the government for the collective development of Chhattisgarh.
Minister O.P. Chaudhary congratulated the Agarwal community on the construction of Agroha Dham, recognizing its potential to benefit the people of Raigarh. He pledged concerted efforts, under Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s leadership, for the overall development of Raigarh district.
The event witnessed the presence of dignitaries such as former Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Gaurishankar Agarwal, former Minister and MLA Amar Agarwal, former MP Naveen Jindal, MLA Rajesh Agarwal, MLA Sampat Agarwal, former Minister Krishna Kumar Gupta, National President of Agarwal Samaj Gopal Sharan Garg, along with Agarwal community officials, local public representatives, and a large number of citizens.
