TFP Bureau, Raipur; Dec 29, 2023: The newly sworn-in Chief Minister, Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, experienced an overwhelming outpouring of love and respect as he visited several villages in his home district of Jashpur. The villagers, donned in traditional attire and accompanied by vibrant beats of mandars and drums, gave him a grand welcome, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Diwali.
The anticipation among the people was palpable as they eagerly awaited the arrival of their native son. The Chief Minister was greeted with showers of flowers, garlands, and the application of Vijay Tilak, reflecting the community’s deep affection for him. Stepping down from the open jeep, he warmly interacted with the crowd, displaying humility and intimacy. MLA Mrs. Gomti Sai joined in the welcome celebrations.
Chiraitand in Duldula block witnessed enthusiastic slogans and drumbeats as the Chief Minister was warmly received by the villagers. The excitement reached its peak in Salihatoli, where women adorned their beloved leader with tilak and performed aarti.
The road show in Kunkuri became a spectacle of joy as the Chief Minister, moved by the overwhelming reception, stepped out of the car to personally meet and greet the people. The streets were filled with women and children, creating a Diwali-like ambiance with continuous fireworks. Elders and residents alike welcomed the Chief Minister, who was visibly moved by the affection and respect showered upon him.
During the road show, villagers held placards with family names, expressing their joy and connection with the Chief Minister. At the Government Boys Middle School grounds in Kunkuri, Chief Minister Shri Sai was ceremoniously weighed with laddus by the Agarwal community, while fireworks illuminated the sky.
In Dugdugia Chowk of Kunkuri Nagar Panchayat, women extended a warm welcome with garlands, aarti, and Vijay Tilak amidst a shower of flowers. The Chief Minister inaugurated square beautification work in Dugdugia, where a fountain was installed. As a gesture of celebration, villagers donated dry fruits, sweets, and laddus to mark the beloved Chief Minister’s visit.
