Chief Minister Seeks Blessings from Family Deity in Turri

TFP Bureau Raipur; Dec 29, 2023: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai embarked on a spiritual journey, weaving through ancestral rituals, sacred visits, and divine blessings in a testament to faith, tradition, and the roots that shape his governance.

1. Turri Village Welcomes Chief Minister’s Spiritual Homage

After assuming office, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, accompanied by his wife Mrs. Kaushalya Sai, made a poignant visit to Turri village near Bandarchuwa. Seeking blessings from the family deity, the Chief Minister offered jaggery, coconut, betel nut, and prayers for the prosperity of the state. The village priest orchestrated the puja with precision, and the air resonated with the tunes of traditional tribal musical instruments, creating a truly devotional atmosphere.

In a significant touch, the temple stands as a tribute to the Chief Minister’s ancestor, the late Sardar Bhagat Sai (Sardar Budha), adding a historical layer to the spiritual connect. The visit was marked by the overwhelming presence of villagers from nearby areas.

2. Tiger God Worship Honors Chief Minister’s Ancestral Sacrifice

In Turri village, residents pay homage to Chief Minister Shri Sai’s ancestor, Bhagat Sai, who sacrificed his life to a tiger attack. The place is considered sacred, with an idol of the tiger installed, symbolizing the deity where the Chief Minister’s lineage traces back. Villagers, including the Sai family, hold this site in high regard, a testament to the enduring spiritual significance in their lives.

3. Guru Gaddi Blessings and Temple Visit in Bhuiyapani

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai continued his spiritual odyssey by seeking the blessings of Guru Honorable Sri Sri 108 Shri Gurudev Swami Dhanpati Panda ji. Having been a follower since the age of five, the Chief Minister visited Bhuiyapani to pay respects to Guru Gaddi. A devoted flag bearer of the Guru-disciple tradition, Shri Vishnudev Sai has also contributed to constructing a Durga temple in the Guru’s memory in the village.

4. Divine Prayers at Bhuiyapani Village’s Temple Complex

The journey culminated with Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai’s visit to the temple complex in Bhuiyapani village, Raigad District. Immersed in spiritual reverence, he prayed before the idols of Lord Shiva and Bajrangbali, wishing for the well-being and prosperity of the state. The temple, guided by Shri Dhanpati Panda, holds statues of historical and divine significance, embodying the Chief Minister’s connection to the religious and cultural fabric of the region.

The Chief Minister’s spiritual sojourn reflects a harmonious blend of tradition, reverence, and the cultural heritage that forms the cornerstone of his leadership in Chhattisgarh.
