Chhattisgarh Government Allocates Ministerial Portfolios

Notification from the Department of General Administration, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar

TFP Bureau, Raipur; Dec 29, 2023: In accordance with Rule 4 of the Chhattisgarh Government Business (Allocation) Rules, the Governor of Chhattisgarh has designated specific departments and/or agenda items to each minister in his cabinet. The allocation is as follows:

1. Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Chief Minister – General Administration, Mineral Resources, Energy, Public Relations, Commercial Tax (Excise), Transport, and Others.

2. Shri Arun Sao, Deputy Chief Minister – Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Law and Legislative Affairs, Urban Administration.

3. Shri Vijay Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister – Home and Jail, Panchayat and Rural Development, Technical Education and Employment, Science and Technology.

4. Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, Minister – School Education, Higher Education, Parliamentary Work, Religious Trusts and Endowments, Tourism, and Culture.

5. Shri Ram Vichar Netam, Minister – Primitive Caste Development, Scheduled Caste Development, Backward Class and Minority Development, Agricultural Development, and Farmers Welfare.

6. Shri Dayal Das Baghel, Minister – Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.

7. Shri Kedar Kashyap, Minister – Forest and Climate Change, Water Resources, Skill Development, and Cooperation.

8. Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan, Minister – Commerce & Industry & Labor.

9. Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Minister – Public Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education, Twenty Point Implementation.

10. Shri O. P. Chaudhary, Minister – Finance, Commercial Tax, Housing and Environment, Planning Economics and Statistics.

11. Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade, Minister – Women and Child Development and Social Welfare.

12. Shri Tank Ram Verma, Minister – Sports and Youth Welfare, Revenue and Disaster Management.
