TFP Bureau, Raipur; January 2, 2024: The Chhattisgarh government announced the allocation of government residences today for the Assembly Speaker, Leader of Opposition, and Cabinet Ministers. The Home Department issued the house allotment order from Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan in Raipur.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh has been assigned the A-1 house in Shankar Nagar Raipur Civil Line. Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant has been allotted a residence in Civil Lines Raipur, located behind E-1 Gandhi Udyan.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao has received residence D-8 in Civil Line, Raipur, while Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma has been allotted residence C-3 in Civil Line, Raipur. Among the cabinet ministers, Education and Tourism Minister Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal has been assigned B-5/1 in the Old Commissioner Bungalow Shankar Nagar. Tribal Development and Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam has been allotted C-5 in Civil Line Shankar Nagar, and Food Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel has received B-5/1.5 (Heritage) in Jail Road Old Forest Conservator Bungalow Forest Colony. Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap has been allocated C-3 in Forest Colony Raja Talab, and Labor Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan has received C-4 in Forest Colony Shankar Nagar.
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has been assigned C-2 in Shankar Nagar, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary has received residence D-5/9 in Shankar Nagar, and Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade has been allotted residences in D-7 and D-8 Shankar Nagar. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Mr. Tankaram Verma has received a residence in D-5/10 Shankar Nagar, Raipur.
Former Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has been allotted a residence near Chhattisgarh Club at E-1 Civil Line, and Jagdalpur MLA Mr. Kiran Dev has received a residence at B-5/12 Civil Line, Raipur.
