Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai Engages in National Youth Festival at Sai Vivekananda Sarovar Udyan

The vibrant atmosphere of the festival resonated with the energy and excitement of the young participants

TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 12, 2024:  Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai actively participated in the National Youth Festival held at Swami Vivekananda Sarovar Udyan in Raipur, marking the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. During the event, the Chief Minister paid homage to Swami Vivekananda by offering flowers at his statue in the garden and also worshipped at the revered Adishakti Budhadev temple.

The National Youth Festival, a significant celebration on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, brought together various dignitaries, including Raipur MP Sunil Soni, Culture and Tourism Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tankaram Verma, MLA Motilal Sahu, and representatives from the Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda Ashram Raipur, including Swami Avyayatmananda, Swami Prapatyananda, and Swami Devbhavananda.

Chief Minister Sai took the opportunity to distribute job offer letters to 20 young individuals from the Technotask BPO, emphasizing employment generation for the youth. Additionally, he presented checks of Rs. 10 thousand each to five beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana to support their entrepreneurial ventures, encouraging their business endeavors.

During the Youth Festival, Chief Minister Sai honored Mr. Lalit, the founder of the startup ‘Socio Seller.’ The District Administration of Raipur also played its part in providing employment opportunities by offering jobs to 30 youth in MP Poly Print and Pack Institute, where they will serve as supervisors and staff members.

Expressing his enthusiasm for engaging with the youth, Chief Minister Sai interacted with them directly, fostering a cordial and welcoming environment. The vibrant atmosphere of the festival resonated with the energy and excitement of the young participants.

The event was attended by Secretary to the Chief Minister P. Dayanand, Commissioner Raipur Sanjay Alang, Commissioner of the Public Relations Department Mayank Srivastava, Collector Raipur Gaurav Kumar Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Aggarwal, and a multitude of young and enlightened citizens. As a gesture, Collector Gaurav Kumar Singh presented Vivekananda literature books to the distinguished guests, adding a touch of intellectual engagement to the festivities.
