TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 13, 2024: Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary conducted a comprehensive review of the Women and Child Development department’s budget during a meeting held at Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya today. The meeting, attended by senior officials of the department, aimed to discuss key schemes such as Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matrivandana Yojana, Chief Minister Kanyadan Yojana, and the Integrated Child Development Service Scheme.
Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade was also present during the meeting, emphasizing collaborative efforts between the finance and departmental officials. The discussions included an in-depth analysis of the budget allocations for various schemes, seeking ways to enhance their effectiveness and impact.
Finance Minister Shri Choudhary provided valuable suggestions during the meeting, proposing the integration of state-level schemes and the creation of a unified monitoring portal for both umbrella and integrated schemes.
