TFP Bureau, Raipur; January 16 2024: Chhattisgarh has marked a significant milestone in the realm of non-conventional energy, earning accolades in the field of solar energy. The Energy Department of the Chhattisgarh Government has carved a new path in non-conventional energy sources. Under the adept leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the state’s nodal agency, Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA), has been bestowed with the Scotch Order of Merit Certificate for its effective operation, maintenance, and management of solar power plants in the state. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai extended his congratulations to CREDA’s officers and employees for this commendable achievement.
CREDA received this prestigious honor in recognition of its efficient and robust operation and maintenance system for solar power plants. Notably, by ensuring effective maintenance and upkeep of over two lakh eighty-one thousand solar power plants in the state, CREDA maintains an impressive operational average of 94 to 95 percent throughout the year.
The Scotch Order of Merit Certificate was received online by Shri Rajesh Singh Rana, Chief Executive Officer of CREDA. Other officers of CREDA were also present during the virtual ceremony.
