TFP Bureau, Raipur; January 18, 2022: On Wednesday, the sacred flame from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhyadham made its way to Chhattisgarh, marking a momentous occasion for devotees of Lord Ram. In a ceremonial handover at the State Guest House, Pahuna, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai received the Sacred Jyoti Kalash from the devotees who undertook the journey from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya Dham.
Accompanied by Vedic chanting, the ceremonial transfer of the sacred flame urn took place in a spiritually charged atmosphere. Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed that the Jyoti Kalash would find its place in the Shri Ram Temple in the capital city of Raipur. From there, the sacred flame will be sent to various parts of the state, symbolizing the divine light’s spread across Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, addressing the significance of the occasion, appealed to the people of the state to illuminate their homes by lighting lamps in celebration of Shri Ramlala Pran Pratistha.
Ram devotees, who were part of the group bringing the sacred flame from Shri Ayodhyadham, shared details of their journey with Chief Minister Shri Sai. Notably, the group included devotees from diverse backgrounds, including Mr. Rajjan Akil Khan from Bhilai and Mr. Shahnawaz from the Muslim community, showcasing unity in the spirit of devotion. The team members, including Mr. Pragnesh Mahendrabhai Patel, Mr. Raju Sahu, Mr. Arvind Patel, Mr. Akash Pal, among others, presented Prasad from Shri Ayodhyadham to the Chief Minister.
The presence of numerous Ram devotees, such as Shri Rohit Kaushik, Shri Prakash Sharma, Pandit Vikas Shastri, Shri Tika Ram Sahu, Shri Rajesh Tiwari, Shri Mahesh, added to the spiritual fervor of the occasion. The arrival of the sacred flame holds deep cultural and religious significance for the people of Chhattisgarh, emphasizing the state’s connection with the revered Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.
