TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 21, 2024: The Chhattisgarh Police Headquarters has announced an extension of the deadline for online applications for the recruitment of constable cadre in the District Police Force. Originally scheduled to end on February 15, the online application window has been extended until 11:59 pm on March 6, 2024. As part of this extension, male candidates applying for the constable cadre will benefit from an additional relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 5967 vacant positions in the constable cadre of the District Police Force. The initial advertisement was issued by the Police Headquarters, Chhattisgarh, on October 4, 2023. The online application period, initially set from January 1, 2024, to February 15, 2024, has now been extended to March 6, 2024.
The Home (Police) Department, in a letter addressing the extension, stated, “In addition to the maximum age limit prescribed for male candidates in the recruitment of constable cadre of the District Police Force, an additional relaxation of 5 years is given once.” All other provisions outlined in the original advertisement from October 4, 2023, for the direct recruitment of 5967 constable cadre positions in the District Police Force will remain unchanged.
