Historic Musical Presentation Unveils 500 Years of Shri Ram Temple’s History in Raipur

The musical presentation, ‘Shri Ram Gatha,’ immersed the audience in devotional songs like “Shri Ram Chandra Kripalu Bhaj Man,” “Humare Saath Shri Raghunath,” and “Hanuman Chalisa.”

TFP Bureau, Raipur; January 22, 2024: The residents of Raipur were treated to a historic live presentation at the Police Ground, delving into the 500-year history of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. Hosted by the Chhattisgarh Culture Department, the event drew a large audience, witnessing the musical live presentation of ‘Gatha Shri Ram Mandir.’ The special presence of Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan and Culture, Endowment, and Tourism Minister Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal added to the significance of the occasion on Saturday.

The heart-touching narrative unfolded through the musical saga presented by the Hriday Band of Shri Mohit Shivani from Mumbai. Lasting for 75 minutes, the presentation depicted the saga of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, spanning over 2000 years. Commencing with the birth of Shri Ram, the presentation covered the attacks on Ayodhya by invaders, the defenders’ resistance, and the subsequent struggle to reclaim Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.

The saga highlighted key individuals associated with Ayodhya and the Shri Ram Temple, including the restoration efforts by King Vikramaditya and Mother Ahilyabai Holkar, the struggles of the Bairagi Sadhus, the removal and reappearance of Ramlala in the sanctum sanctorum, the sacrifices of Kar Sevaks, the contributions of the Kothari brothers, political developments, and the ongoing construction of the grand temple.

The musical presentation, ‘Shri Ram Gatha,’ immersed the audience in devotional songs like “Shri Ram Chandra Kripalu Bhaj Man,” “Humare Saath Shri Raghunath,” and “Hanuman Chalisa.” The audience, captivated by the Ram Bhajans, expressed their appreciation with applause.

The event was graced by the presence of Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tankram Verma, former Assembly Speaker Shri Premprakash Pandey, former Leader of Opposition Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, and MLAs Mrs. Uddeshwari Paikra, Shri Rohit Sahu, Shri Anuj Sharma, and Guru Shri Khushwant Saheb.

Minister Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal congratulated the organizers, presenters, and the entire team for orchestrating this grand and historic event.
