Republic Day Celebrations to Enfold Across Chhattisgarh: Diverse Leaders to Hoist Flags in Various Districts
TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 23, 2024: As the nation gears up for Republic Day on January 26, Chhattisgarh is set to witness a spectrum of celebrations with key dignitaries unfurling the tricolor across the state. In the capital city of Raipur, Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan will lead the main function at the Police Parade Ground.
The Governor is scheduled to hoist the national flag and take the salute of the parade at 9 am during the grand event. Simultaneously, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will preside over the flag-hoisting ceremony in Jagdalpur, the headquarters of the Bastar division.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao is designated to hoist the flag in Bilaspur, while Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma will perform the flag-hoisting ceremony in Durg. The diverse lineup of leaders includes Tourism and Culture Minister Mr. Brijmohan Aggarwal in Mahasamund, Tribal Development Minister Mr. Ramvichar Netam in Balrampur-Ramanujang, Food Minister Mr. Dayaldas Baghel in Bemetara, and Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap in Narayanpur.
As part of the widespread celebrations, various districts will witness leaders, such as Commerce and Industry Minister Mr. Lakhanlal Dewangan in Korba, Health Minister Mr. Shyambihari Jaiswal in Manendragarh, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary in Raigarh, and Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade in Ambikapur, Surguja division headquarters.
*The participation extends to Members of Parliament, with Mr. Guha Ram Ajgale, Mr. Vijay Baghel, Mr. Mohan Mandavi, and Mr. Sunil Soni hoisting flags in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Balod, Kanker, and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai districts, respectively.
Legislative Assembly members are also contributing to the festive spirit, with leaders like Shri Dharamlal Kaushik in Mungeli, Shri Amar Aggarwal in Janjgir-Champa, Mrs. Renuka Singh in Surajpur, and Mr. Bhaiya Lal Rajwade in Korea District Headquarters Baikunthpur.
