PM Modi to Mark Parakram Diwas at Red Fort, Inaugurate Bharat Parv Today
TFP Bureau, New Delhi; January 23, 2024: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to participate in the Parakram Diwas celebrations at the iconic Red Fort on January 23 at 6:30 PM. The event, initiated in 2021 on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary, aims to honor key contributors to the freedom struggle.
This year’s multifaceted celebration at Red Fort will blend historical reflections with vibrant cultural expressions, commemorating the profound legacy of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the Azad Hind Fauj. The program includes immersive exhibitions displaying rare photographs and documents, offering visitors a glimpse into the remarkable journey of Netaji and the Azad Hind Fauj. The festivities will extend until January 31.
Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate Bharat Parv during the event, scheduled from January 23 to 31. This showcase of the country’s rich diversity will feature Republic Day Tableaux and cultural exhibits, highlighting initiatives from 26 Ministries and Departments. The displays aim to spotlight citizen-centric initiatives, promote “vocal for local” campaigns, and showcase diverse tourist attractions. The venue for Bharat Parv will be the Ram Leela Maidan and Madhav Das Park, located in front of the historic Red Fort.
