Chief Minister Shri Sai Launches Mega Development Initiatives during Bastar Visit

Arrival in Jagdalpur Welcomed by Enthusiastic Public Representatives and Officials

TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 25, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai embarked on his two-day visit to Bastar, commencing with a warm welcome from public representatives and officials upon his arrival at Maa Danteshwari Airport in Jagdalpur. Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap and former Chairman of the Forest Development Corporation, Shri Srinivas Maddi, accompanied the Chief Minister.

Warm Reception at Maa Danteshwari Airport

Chitrakote MLA Shri Vinayak Goyal, Mayor Smt. Safira Sahu, District Panchayat President Smt. Vedwati Kashyap, former MP Shri Dinesh Kashyap, and other dignitaries, along with key officials such as Bastar Commissioner Shri Shyam Dhawde and IG Shri Sundarraj P., joined the welcoming committee at Maa Danteshwari Airport.

Mega Development Unveiled

During his stay in Bastar, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for a staggering 195 development projects, collectively valued at over Rs 100 crore 42 lakh 28 thousand. This ambitious initiative encompasses the inauguration of 110 projects worth Rs 24 crore 44 lakh 60 thousand and the groundbreaking ceremony for 89 projects valued at Rs 75 crore 98 lakh 88 thousand.

Key Projects on the Agenda

Infrastructure Boost: Chief Minister will inaugurate Siri (MRC) and Samriddhi (MRF), essential projects costing approximately Rs 3 crore 50 lakh, located at Burudwada Semra.

Public Health Center:A new Urban Primary Health Center at Burudwada Semra will also be inaugurated, contributing to improved healthcare facilities in the region.

Civic and Recreational Spaces: Foundation stone for the construction of Indradhanush Park in Chitrakote and Tirtha, with a budget of Rs 7 crore 12 lakh, will be laid.

Educational and Cultural Hubs: Gyan Gudi Academy (Rs 45 lakh) and Science Center (Rs 25 lakh) are among the educational initiatives set to be inaugurated.

Administrative Facilities: Passport Office (approximately Rs 25 lakh) and a Garden in the Collectorate complex (Rs 17.45 lakh) will be inaugurated, enhancing administrative infrastructure.

Healthcare Access: An Urban Primary Health Center, costing Rs 75 lakh, will contribute to improved healthcare accessibility.

Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana

Chief Minister Shri Sai will perform the Bhoomi Pujan for various projects under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Agriculture Department, Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation, Public Works Department, and Forest Department. This includes projects related to road development, agriculture initiatives, medical services, public works, and forest conservation.

The two-day visit is a strategic move to bolster the development landscape in Bastar, emphasizing crucial sectors for the well-being and progress of the region.
