TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 26, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, in his Republic Day address at Bastar district headquarters Jagdalpur, laid out a visionary roadmap for Chhattisgarh, emphasizing the state’s identity rooted in Integral Humanism and unwavering devotion to Lord Ram.
Stressing the significance of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s philosophy, Chief Minister Sai stated, “Unwavering devotion towards Lord Ram is our identity. We follow the ‘Raghukul tradition always prevails, life does not die but words do not die’ philosophy.” He highlighted the deep-rooted consciousness of Integral Humanism that guides the state toward the goals of human religion.
Addressing the aspirations of the people, Chief Minister Sai asserted, “We will fulfill the dreams of every person in Chhattisgarh. Our government is ready to fulfill every promise.” He expressed his commitment to steering the state in the direction envisioned by the pioneer of Integral Humanism.
On the occasion of the 75th Republic Day, Chief Minister Sai raised the flag at Bastar district headquarters Jagdalpur. The ceremony, held at Lalbagh Ground, was marked by joy and celebration. Chief Minister Sai, after hoisting the national flag, took the salute of the parade.
Reflecting on the historic occasion, he remarked, “This day adds a golden link in the Amrit Kaal of India in the form of the 75th Republic Day. It is the biggest festival celebrating the success of our great Constitution.”
Chief Minister Sai paid tribute to the sons of Chhattisgarh, specifically mentioning Amar Shaheed Gaind Singh, Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh, and Veer Gundadhoor, who played pivotal roles in connecting the state with the national movement.
He emphasized the pivotal role of the Constitution, calling it the best in the world. “Our Constitution is the best Constitution in the world, made keeping in mind the experiences of the past, the needs of the present, and the challenges of the future,” he stated.
Acknowledging the achievements of the nation in the last decade, Chief Minister Sai credited Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s policies, which have propelled India to global recognition. He highlighted the success story of the Republic, contributing to the overall development of the country and the state.
Expressing pride in Chhattisgarh’s progress since its formation in 2000, Chief Minister Sai affirmed, “What is of utmost importance in a republic is respect for the wishes and aspirations of the general public, respect for the dignity of every individual, identification of the needs of every citizen, and conduct of government policies, plans, and programs accordingly.”
The Chief Minister delved into the government’s initiatives, including providing permanent housing to over 18 lakh families and ensuring pure drinking water through the Jal Jeevan Mission. He highlighted the distribution of Rs 3,716 crores as a bonus for paddy procurement, purchase of 21 quintals of paddy per acre, and the ‘Krishak Jeevan Jyoti Yojana‘ providing free electricity to farmers.
Chief Minister Sai extended his assurance to farmers, stating, “We will continuously pay attention to agriculture and all related areas and will continue to solve the problems.” He emphasized the government’s commitment to schemes like Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.
Pledging support for women, he introduced the ‘Mahtari Vandan Yojana,‘ promising annual financial assistance of Rs 12,000. He addressed the concerns of the youth, assuring transparency in PSC and other competitive examinations through a CBI inquiry and holistic initiatives in education, personality development, values, health, and employment.
The Chief Minister lauded the ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra,’ aiming to reach every deprived and weak person in the state, providing them benefits of various schemes. He acknowledged the ‘PM-Janman Yojana‘ for the upliftment of special backward tribes and the ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ scheme to streamline the PDS system.
Highlighting cleanliness achievements, Chief Minister Sai thanked the citizens for making Chhattisgarh the third cleanest state in the country. He affirmed the commitment to take the state to the pinnacle of cleanliness for improved living standards.
In response to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, Chief Minister Sai shared the government’s efforts under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana’ to provide free rice till December 2028 to nearly 68 lakh eligible families in Chhattisgarh.
He concluded by reiterating the government’s dedication to fulfilling promises and expressed confidence in achieving the dreams of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and the people of the state with their love, cooperation, and support.
