Union Education Minister Reviews Preparations for 7th Edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha

TFP Bureau, New Delhi; January 27, 2024: Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Minister, conducted a comprehensive review of the arrangements for the upcoming 7th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) slated for January 29, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

The minister highlighted the annual tradition that Pariksha Pe Charcha has become, eagerly anticipated by ExamWarriors, parents, and teachers alike. This unique initiative, spearheaded by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, aims to address the stress associated with examinations and foster a celebratory approach towards life, aligning with the broader movement of ‘Exam Warriors.’

The 7th edition has garnered an impressive 2.26 crore registrations on the MyGov portal, indicating widespread enthusiasm among students nationwide. The town-hall format at Bharat Mandapam will host approximately 3000 participants engaging in a dialogue with the Prime Minister. Notably, two students and a teacher from each State and Union Territory, along with winners of the Kala Utsav, have been invited, and a hundred students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) will participate for the first time.

To select participants, an online Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) competition on the MyGov portal was conducted from December 11, 2023, to January 12, 2024. Successful participants will receive a Pariksha Pe Charcha kit, featuring the “Exam Warriors” book by the Prime Minister and a certificate.

In the lead-up to the main event, various school-level activities took place nationwide from January 12 to January 23, 2024. These activities included marathon runs, music and meme competitions, nukkad natak, and student-anchor-student-guest discussions. The theme centered around exam mantras from the book “Exam Warriors.”

With the 7th edition just around the corner and 2.26 crore registrations, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 promises to play a pivotal role in alleviating exam stress and promoting a positive learning culture. The event continues to serve as a beacon of inspiration for students, parents, and educators nationwide.
