TFP Bureau, Raipur; January 28, 2024: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to engage in a direct interaction with students, teachers, and parents on January 29, continuing the annual tradition of celebrating exams as a festival and alleviating stress among students. The ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha-2024’ program is scheduled for 11 am at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
In Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, accompanied by School Education Minister Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal and school children, will follow the live telecast of the program at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium. The live broadcast will commence at 11 am, with students and public representatives in attendance. Following the event, the Chief Minister, School Education Minister, and other representatives will visit the exhibition organized by the School Education Department at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium.
The ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program can be viewed live on various platforms, including DD News, DD National, DD India, FM Radio, Facebook Live, YouTube, and the MyGov.in portal. Anticipation is high in the state for the insightful discussion on examinations.
Chhattisgarh’s students, teachers, and parents actively participate, reaping the benefits of this initiative. In the previous year, 2023, 62,077 students and 12,355 teachers from the state sent articles on various topics, with a total of 77,308 participants, including 2,876 parents. This year, students, parents, and teachers from classes 6 to 12 have the opportunity to join. As of January 12, 2024, the Government of India reported 1,56,459 student registrations, 21,607 teacher registrations, and 5,963 parent registrations. In accordance with state rules, one teacher and two students have been selected to attend the live program in New Delhi.
The participation in the discussion on exams has seen a remarkable increase, soaring from 22,000 participants in 2018 to over 2.26 crore this year, marking a 102-fold rise in six years.
