Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai to Grace Jhumka Water Festival in Korea

Inauguration of Development Works Worth Rs 74 Crore

TFP Bureau,Raipur; January 31, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is set to visit Korea for the first time since assuming office, marking his participation in the Jhumka Water Festival organized by the district administration in Koriya district on February 1 and 2. The Chief Minister will serve as the chief guest, while Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will preside over the event.

During this visit, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai will inaugurate and conduct the Bhoomi Pujan for development works totaling approximately Rs 74 crore. This includes Bhoomi Pujan for projects worth around Rs 58 crore and the inauguration of development works amounting to Rs 16 crore.

Accompanying the Chief Minister will be special guests including Tourism, Culture, Religious Trust and Endowment Minister Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Lok Sabha MP Smt. Jyotsna Charan Das Mahant, Baikunthpur MLA Shri Bhaiya Lal Rajwade, and Bharatpur-Sonhat MLA Smt. Renuka Singh.

The Jhumka Jal Mahotsav will also see the presence of distinguished guests, including District Panchayat President Korea Mrs. Renuka Singh, District President Baikunthpur Mrs. Saubhagyavati Singh, District President Sonhat Mrs. Lalli Singh, Municipal Council President Baikunthpur Mrs. Navita Shivhare, Municipal Council President Shivpur-Charcha Mrs. Lalmuni Yadav, and Gram Panchayat Odgi Sarpanch Mrs. Babi Agaria.

Under the chairmanship of Tourism, Culture, Religious Trusts, and Endowments Minister Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal, the Jhumka Jal Mahotsav will culminate on February 2, with Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal as the chief guest.
