TFP Bureau, Raipur; February 7, 2024: The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, spearheaded by former National President of All India Congress Committee, Rahul Gandhi, is set to cross the Chhattisgarh border from Orissa on February 8th. The symbolic flag of the yatra will be ceremoniously presented to Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress President, Deepak Baij, by the President of Orissa Pradesh Congress at the Rengarpali check post on the Chhattisgarh border.
Following the flag handover, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will resume its journey, departing from Darramunda in Raigarh district on February 11th, after a two-day hiatus on February 9th and 10th. The yatra will make an overnight stop near Government Pyarelal College, Bhaisama. On February 12th, the padyatra will commence from Sitamarhi Chowk in Korba district, with a night halt near Shivnagar police station Tara in Surajpur district. Continuing its route, the yatra will begin from Raigarh Bus Stand Chowk (Udaipur) in Surguja district on February 13th, with the night stay planned at Jhingo in Balrampur district. Finally, on February 14th, the padyatra will kick off from the Old Circuit House in Balrampur district, culminating at Ramanujganj, the border of Balrampur district, where the national flag will be exchanged between the Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand State Congress Presidents.
Expressing anticipation for Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’s arrival in Chhattisgarh, State Congress President Deepak Baij conveyed the enthusiasm among the people and Congress workers for the momentous event. He emphasized the significance of the yatra, which commenced from Manipur to Mumbai on January 14th, 2024, covering over 6700 kilometers across 110 districts in 67 days. In Chhattisgarh, the yatra will traverse through 7 districts, with Rahul Gandhi walking 536 kilometers over 5 days. Amidst prevailing challenges of hunger, inflation, unemployment, farmer distress, and communal tensions, Rahul Gandhi’s Nyaya Padyatra is poised to offer solace to the people.
