TFP Bureau, New Delhi; February 7, 2024: During the Centenary Celebrations of Indraprastha College for Women, Vice-President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar appealed to corporate and industry leaders to extend generous support to educational institutions, especially those dedicated to girls’ education.
Addressing the students, Shri Dhankhar emphasized the pivotal role of education in fostering equality within society. He urged girls to be aspirational, noting the existing ecosystem that enables them to fully realize their potential and ambitions. “You have the opportunity to think big and shape your own destiny,” he encouraged.
Highlighting the significant strides made in women empowerment, Shri Dhankhar underscored the role of girls in shaping the future of Bharat@2047. “You will lead our nation to greater heights and establish India as a global powerhouse,” he affirmed.
The Vice-President stressed that education is the most powerful tool for transformation and emphasized the revolutionary impact of girls’ education. He described the current era as “Amrit Kaal,” brimming with hope and boundless possibilities, positioning India as a beacon of growth and opportunity on the global stage.
Encouraging students to embrace failure as a stepping stone to success, Shri Dhankhar emphasized the need for economic nationalism and advocated for the promotion of ‘Swadeshi’ and ‘Vocal for Local’ initiatives.
Acknowledging recent initiatives like ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ and ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao,’ Shri Dhankhar emphasized the crucial role of girls in driving India’s growth trajectory.
