The conference emphasized the importance of voter participation and introduced a new online platform for voter services.

2. Special Revision of Electoral Rolls-2024:
– Detailed breakdown of voter demographics from the initial publication (06/01/2024) to the final publication (08/02/2024).
3. Increase in Voter Count:
– The state witnessed an increase of 1,20,092 voters since the Assembly General Election 2023.
4. Projected Population and Voter Ratio:
– Total Projected Population as of 01/01/2024: 3.07 crores.
– PwD Voters: 1,91,638 in the last publication.
5. Youth Voter Surge:
– The number of voters in the age group of 18-19 increased by 82,732 during the review period.
6. Launch of Voter Service Portal:
– The voter list without photos is now available on the office website (ceochhattisgarh.nic.in) for public viewing and download.
– Voters can access polling station-wise lists through the portal.
7. Introduction of Voter Photo Identity Card (EPIC):
– 99.86% of EPIC coverage achieved as of 01/01/2024.
– Distribution of EPIC cards facilitated through the Postal Department.
8. Access to e-EPIC:
– Voters can download e-EPIC via the Voter Service Portal (https://voters.eci.gov.in) or through the Voter Helpline App.
9. Deadline for Electoral Roll Amendments:
– Submission of Form-06 and Form-8 applications accepted until 10 days before the last date of filing nominations in Lok Sabha elections.
10. Halt on Name Deletion Process:
– Name deletion through Form-7 will cease with the announcement of the Lok Sabha general election schedule.
11. Promotion of Voter Helpline App:
– Common citizens urged to utilize the Voter Helpline App for accessing polling station numbers and other voter list information during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
