With a resolute commitment to the welfare of the marginalized, youth, farmers, and women, the budget sets forth a comprehensive roadmap for inclusive growth and development in the state, aligning with the promises of “Modi’s Guarantee.”
Vision @2047: Charting a Path to Development
The budget lays the groundwork for Chhattisgarh’s transformation into a developed state by 2047 with the formulation of “Amritkal: Chhattisgarh Vision @2047” by November 1, 2024. This vision aims to double the state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) to Rs 10 lakh crore by 2028, fostering inclusive development across all sectors.

GSDP Growth: Estimated at 6.56% for FY 2023-24.

1. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana: Rs 8,369 crore for the construction of 18 lakh houses.
2. Mahtari Vandan Yojana: Assistance of Rs 12,000 per year to empower women.
3. Krishak Unnati Yojana: Allocation of Rs 10,000 crore to benefit farmers.
4. Jal Jeevan Mission: Provision of Rs 4,500 crore for rural water supply.
