TFP Bureau, Raipur, February 11, 2024: Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap emphasized the importance of using District Mineral Foundation (DMFD) funds for public welfare initiatives lacking provision in departmental budgets. Chairing the governing council cum review meeting of the District Mineral Institute Trust Fund, Minister Kashyap advocated prioritizing the health sector under DMFT to enhance healthcare facilities. He also underscored the necessity of electrification along riverbanks, renovation of Devguri, and empowerment of Panchayats.
During the meeting held at Jagdalpur district headquarters, Minister Kashyap assessed the progress of projects executed under the DMFT for the fiscal year 2023-24 and deliberated on the action plan for 2024-25. He stressed the importance of maintaining the quality of infrastructure projects sanctioned under DMFD and emphasized the need for detailed documentation of DMFD works at the district level. Additionally, Minister Kashyap urged smooth operation of state and central government schemes.
Jagdalpur MLA Shri Kiran Dev reiterated the commitment of public representatives and officials to expedite developmental work in the region. Highlighting ongoing infrastructure projects in the Bastar region, MLA Dev emphasized their positive impact on the local populace. Collector Shri Vijay Dayaram K. provided updates on various projects, including proposals to address drinking water scarcity, conserve ancient ponds, promote collective farming, and enhance employment opportunities.
