Emphasizing the imperative of stringent law enforcement, Chief Minister Shri Sai cautioned against any laxity in combating criminal elements.
Highlighting the dual imperative of sternness towards criminals and compassion towards civilians, Chief Minister Shri Sai underscored the pivotal role of the police in upholding law and order. He stressed the insidious impact of social vices like illegal liquor and gambling on societal fabric, particularly on impressionable youth. Chief Minister Shri Sai issued a categorical warning, signaling repercussions for officials failing in their duty to curb criminal activities.
Asserting the police department’s pivotal role in fostering a disciplined and crime-free society, Chief Minister Shri Sai commended the valor of Jawans engaged in anti-Maoist operations. He assured unwavering government support for police personnel, affirming provisions for their welfare and the allocation of significant budgetary resources to fortify law enforcement efforts.
Echoing Chief Minister Shri Sai’s sentiments, Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma lauded the increased budgetary allocation for the Home Department, underscoring the government’s commitment to enhancing police capabilities. Stressing the need for a concerted societal effort to prevent crime, Shri Sharma reiterated the government’s resolve to restore Chhattisgarh as a bastion of peace.
