Furthermore, APSEZ’s environmental prowess was highlighted in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) 2023, where it secured the top rank in the environmental dimension among 324 leading players in the Global Transportation and Transportation Infrastructure sector. This recognition underscores APSEZ’s relentless pursuit of sustainability, with significant improvements noted over the years.
The Sustainalytics Low Carbon Transition Rating affirmed APSEZ’s commitment to climate action by assigning it the top rank in the ports sector. The rating recognizes APSEZ’s alignment with global net-zero targets and its ambitious pledge to achieve net-zero emissions by 2040, a decade ahead of the global mandate.
Moody’s Energy Transition Rating further underscored APSEZ’s leadership position, bestowing an ‘Advanced’ rating. This accolade reflects APSEZ’s exemplary performance in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) parameters, positioning it at the forefront of sustainability efforts.
