In adherence to this noble initiative, Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh exemplified compassion by personally serving a feast to students of the Government New Primary School Dharampura on his birthday.

The morning commenced with Dr. Gaurav Singh seeking blessings from Goddess Saraswati before joining the children. Amidst joyous chatter, he meticulously served each child with a variety of dishes, including pulao, vegetables, lentils, rice, kheer, and cake. Joining in the effort were SP Mr. Santosh Singh, DFO Mr. Vishweshwar Rai, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Abinash Mishra, and CEO of Zilla Panchayat Mr. Vishwadeep. The children, visibly elated, expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, School Education Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, and Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh. Their heartfelt appreciation underscored the significance of such initiatives in fostering goodwill and inspiring future aspirations.

Amidst the festivities, Mrs. Bunda Bai Sahu, President of the Saraswati Mahila Group, added to the celebratory ambiance by singing traditional Sohar songs and extending warm birthday wishes to the Collector. Mrs. Sahu has been actively involved in the mid-day meal scheme at the school since its inception.

In a call to action, the Collector urged officers and citizens alike to celebrate significant milestones by sharing meals with school children. He emphasized the importance of nutritious food and encouraged individuals to contribute towards enhancing the dietary intake of children. This initiative, aligned with the Pradhan Mantri Nutrition Shakti Nirman Yojana, aims to increase community involvement in providing nutritious meals to school children, fostering a culture of compassion and communal support.
