TFP Bureau, Raipur, February 21, 2024: The initial phase of application collection for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana concluded at 6 pm on Tuesday, marking a significant step towards providing financial support to eligible beneficiaries. Upon verification of applications, a provisional list will be promptly released, with provisions for addressing any claims and objections thereafter. Once finalized, the beneficiaries can anticipate receiving the allocated amount directly into their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts in March through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chhattisgarh Government remains committed to fulfilling Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s promises to the people of Chhattisgarh. The Mahtari Vandan Yojana aims to provide eligible beneficiaries with a monthly assistance of Rs. 1000, totaling Rs. 12,000 annually, directly deposited into their accounts.

The Women and Child Development Department disclosed that the state has received over 70 lakh applications thus far. The completion of the verification process for the first phase sets the stage for subsequent phases, offering citizens the opportunity to apply afresh for the scheme’s benefits.
