TFP Bureau, Raipur, February 25, 2024:The Urban Administration and Development Department has sanctioned a total of Rs 70,50,76,000 for 21 urban bodies across the state under the purview of the 14th and 15th Finance Commissions. This allocation comprises Rs 5,11,62,000 from the 14th Finance Commission and Rs 65,39,14,000 from the 15th Finance Commission. The decision follows the approval of Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration and Development Minister, Shri Arun Sao, aimed at expediting developmental projects in urban areas.
Under the 15th Finance Commission, the Urban Administration and Development Department has allocated funds as follows:

Raigarh Municipal Corporation: Rs 10,62,81,000
Jagdalpur Municipal Corporation: Rs 9,31,30,000
Kawardha Nagar Municipality: Rs 1,21,18,000
Kharsia Municipality: Rs 34,78,000
Nagari Nagar Panchayat: Rs 62,96,000
Mana Camp Nagar Panchayat: Rs 12,66,000
Lavan Nagar Panchayat: Rs 48,58,000
Lailunga Nagar Panchayat: Rs 10,00,000
Lormi Nagar Panchayat: Rs 10,00,000
Bilaspur Municipal Corporation: Rs 1,44,84,000
Korba Municipal Corporation: Rs 8,73,61,000
