TFP Bureau, Raipur; February 26, 2024: In a move aimed at prioritizing the welfare of students, the Chhattisgarh government has announced the implementation of biannual board examinations. Under the directive issued by the State’s Ministry of School Education, the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, Raipur, will administer main examinations twice during an academic session. The first round of exams is scheduled for March, followed by a second round in June-July.
According to the government’s decree, only students enrolled for the initial examination will be permitted to apply for the subsequent session, with no provision for subject alterations. Following the initial exam phase, students must reapply to participate in the second examination. This second phase accommodates students eligible for supplementary exams, those who failed all subjects, and individuals seeking overall subject improvement.
Additionally, students who wish to enhance their marks in one or multiple subjects may avail themselves of this opportunity. Moreover, absentees from the initial examination can also participate in the subsequent session by completing the examination application process. Notably, the assessment outcome of the second examination will be determined by considering the higher subject-wise marks obtained across both examination phases.
