TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 2, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai revealed today that farmers would receive the outstanding amount for paddy procurement, totaling approximately Rs 13 thousand crore, on March 12. His announcement came during the inauguration ceremony of the All India Mahakul (Yadav) Samaj and the public cultural pavilion at Giri Govardhan Dham, situated in Tamamunda village under the Farsabahar development block of Jashpur district. Additionally, Chief Minister Shri Sai unveiled plans to establish a Link Court in Pathalgaon.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received, particularly noting the unique gesture of being welcomed with ghee—a first in his political career. He highlighted the strides made in Chhattisgarh’s development within a brief span of two and a half months, including the sanctioning of 18 lakh Prime Minister houses and efforts to financially empower mothers through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The Chief Minister also lauded the record procurement of paddy this year.
Looking ahead, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai outlined upcoming initiatives, including the purchase of Tendupatta at the support price within the next 15 days, the introduction of Charan Paduka for Tendupatta collectors, and scholarships for children. Emphasizing commitment to fulfilling people’s aspirations, he underscored the government’s focus on expanding health facilities in the Jashpur area. Plans for a 220-bed hospital in Kunkuri, along with approval for four new primary health centers in the district, were highlighted as measures aimed at directly benefiting the local population.
The ceremony, attended by Pathalgaon MLA Mrs. Gomti Sai, former MLA Mr. Bharat Sai, Padmashree Jogeshwar Yadav, Mr. Rohit Sai, Vijay Aditya Singh Judev, and state presidents of the society from Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Orissa, along with various local dignitaries, marked another milestone in the state’s commitment to inclusive development and community empowerment.
