TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 4, 2023: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid a visit to the Shankaracharya Ashram in Boriyakala, Raipur, seeking the blessings of Shankaracharya Jagadguru Swami Shri Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Ji of Jyotish Peeth and Shankaracharya Jagadguru Swami Sadanand Saraswati Ji of Sharda Peeth. Swami Ji’s presence in Chhattisgarh coincided with his participation in the Sant Samagam of Rajim Kumbh, along with various religious events across the state.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed his satisfaction with the meticulous organization of Rajim Kumbh Kalp this year, where saints from all over the country have congregated. He underscored the importance of Swamiji’s presence, emphasizing the fortune of Chhattisgarh to receive his blessings. Shri Sai elaborated on the Sant Samagam’s objective, emphasizing its role in promoting awareness of the Sanatan tradition among the populace.
In response, Shankaracharya Ji lauded the preparations made for Rajim Kumbh, affirming that it will elevate the spiritual ambiance in Chhattisgarh. The event, held in the sacred city of Rajim, home to Lord Rajiv Lochan Ji and Kuleshwar Mahadev Ji, promises an enthusiastic atmosphere for devotees.
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma also attended the occasion, accompanying the Chief Minister.
