Chief Minister Inaugurates Educational Buildings at Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University

New Infrastructure Enhances Educational Opportunities

TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 04, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated two newly constructed educational buildings, Aryabhatta Bhavan and Library Building, at the campus of Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai. The inauguration ceremony, marking a milestone in educational infrastructure, saw the Chief Minister paying homage to the great mathematician Aryabhatta, whose statue stands tall at Aryabhatta Bhavan.

Deputy Chief Ministers Mr. Arun Sao and Mr. Vijay Sharma, along with MP Mr. Vijay Baghel, MLA Lalit Chandrakar, MLA Domanlal Korsewada, MLA Gajendra Yadav, MLA Rickesh Sen, MLA Ishwar Sahu, Commissioner Mr. Satyanarayan Rathore, IG Shri Ramgopal Garg, and Collector Ms. Richa Prakash Choudhary, graced the occasion alongside university officials and students.

Aryabhatta Bhavan: A Hub of Education and Entrepreneurship

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai inaugurated the Aryabhatta Bhavan, constructed at a cost of Rs 10.35 crore. This new educational building will house Diploma, B.Tech (Hons.), M.Tech, and Ph.D. classes under the University Teaching Department, providing advanced learning opportunities to students. Additionally, international company “Nucleus Tech” has been appointed to facilitate training and placement for the students. The office of CSVTU Foundation for Rural Technology and Entrepreneurship (CSVTU-Forte) will also operate from Aryabhatta Bhawan, offering incubation centers and financial assistance to aspiring young entrepreneurs.

The start-up prototype initiated in Aryabhatta Bhawan aims to promote the government’s Start-up India initiative by leveraging grassroots-level technologies and innovations. CSVTU will establish Rural Entrepreneurship Development Centers (REDCs) in its affiliated institutions, offering financial support and mentorship to students exploring innovative and market-friendly products from rural resources. The endeavor seeks to empower rural and deprived social sectors through technological innovation.

The inauguration of these educational buildings marks a significant step toward enhancing educational opportunities and fostering entrepreneurship in Chhattisgarh.
