Chief Justice Releases Bilingual Edition of “Indian Law Reports” in Chhattisgarh

Publication to Benefit Legal Community and Enhance Justice Delivery

TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 04, 2024: Chief Justice Shri Ramesh Sinha unveiled the Chhattisgarh bilingual (English/Hindi) edition of “Indian Law Reports” at the auditorium of Chhattisgarh High Court, Bilaspur, this evening. The release event witnessed the presence of all judges from the Chhattisgarh High Court, Bilaspur. The bilingual edition of Indian Law Reports has been published by the Indian Law Reports Committee, Chhattisgarh Series, in collaboration with All India Reporter, Nagpur.

Chief Justice Shri Ramesh Sinha emphasized the significance of the bilingual edition, highlighting its utility for the legal fraternity in the state and its role in facilitating the justice delivery system. Justices Shri Gautam Bhaduri and Shri Sanjay K. Aggarwal also addressed the gathering, underlining the importance of such publications in legal practice and adjudication.

The event was graced by the presence of Advocate General Shri Prafulla N., Deputy Solicitor General Shri Ramakant Mishra, senior advocates, officials of the High Court Bar Association, advocates, Registrar General and judicial officers, as well as representatives from All India Reporter, including Shri Aditya Vaidya of Nagpur, along with officers and employees of the Registry.

The release of the bilingual edition of “Indian Law Reports” signifies a significant step in providing valuable resources to the legal community and enhancing the accessibility of legal information in Chhattisgarh.
