TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 7,2024: In a significant administrative overhaul, the Chhattisgarh government has executed the transfer of 76 officers within the state police service, marking a notable restructuring within the law enforcement apparatus. Notably, five Additional Superintendent of Police (ASPs) have been redirected to serve in the Chief Minister’s security detail, highlighting a strategic realignment of personnel.
The reshuffle entails the relocation of several officers who have held positions in their respective districts for an extended tenure, reflecting a proactive approach towards optimizing the deployment of law enforcement resources. According to the official directive, Abhishek Maheshwari, a 2013 batch State Police Service officer, has been entrusted with the responsibility of Sukma district, while Neeraj Chandrakar, Additional SP Raipur Rural, has been reassigned to oversee operations in Bilaspur.
Furthermore, Anurag Jha, belonging to the 2014 batch, has been appointed as the Additional SP Protocol-Traffic in Raipur, underscoring the government’s emphasis on strategic traffic management and protocol enforcement.
