Significance of Kheer in Indian Tradition
In Indian and Chhattisgarh customs, kheer holds a sacred place as a customary birthday treat, symbolizing the spread of joy among loved ones. Beyond birthdays, this tradition extends to auspicious occasions, deeply rooted in Sanatan customs. Dating back to the Vedic era, kheer, known as ‘Kshira Pakamodanam’, carries significant cultural importance, resonating with our heritage and values.
