Chhattisgarh Government Marks Three Months Milestone Under Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and State Dignitaries Laud Chief Minister’s Dedication to State’s Development

TFP Bureau, Raipur, March 14, 2024: The Chhattisgarh Government, led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, celebrated a significant milestone as it completed three months in office on March 13. State dignitaries, including Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, joined various ministers, officials, and citizens in extending warm congratulations to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at his residence.

Chief Minister Shri Sai graciously accepted the greetings and expressed gratitude to the people for their unwavering support towards the state’s progress. Emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration, he urged for sustained efforts to drive the state’s development agenda forward. Accompanied by his wife, Smt. Kaushalya Sai, Chief Minister Shri Sai engaged with well-wishers and constituents, reaffirming his commitment to serving their interests.

The occasion witnessed a gathering of prominent figures from across the state, including Education Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, Industry Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, and several MLAs and public representatives. Citizens from various regions also conveyed their appreciation for the Chief Minister’s efforts in advancing the welfare of the people during his tenure.

During the three-month period, the state government under Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s leadership has diligently worked towards fulfilling its commitments to the citizens. Notable achievements include the sanctioning of 18 lakh houses for economically disadvantaged families under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the disbursement of Rs. 655 crore as the first installment to eligible women under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana.

Furthermore, the implementation of the Krishak Unnati Yojana has seen the disbursal of Rs. 13,320 crore to over 24.72 lakh farmers, aimed at bolstering agricultural productivity and benefiting farming communities. Additionally, the government has facilitated timely procurement of paddy from farmers, ensuring a support price of Rs. 3100 per quintal, the highest in the country.

The state’s proactive measures, including the enhancement of tendupatta collection rates and the allocation of a development-focused budget for the fiscal year 2024–25, underscore its commitment to fostering growth, prosperity, and well-being across Chhattisgarh. These initiatives are poised to accelerate the state’s trajectory towards comprehensive development and inclusive prosperity.
