Chhattisgarh Government Shuffles 12 IAS Officers Ahead of General Elections 2024

Key Administrative Changes Unveiled

TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 15, 2024: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the General Administration Department of the Chhattisgarh Government has announced the transfer of 13 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in preparation for the forthcoming General Elections 2024. The changes, effective immediately from March 14, 2024, reflect the state’s strategic realignment of key personnel roles.

Among the notable appointments, Smt. Renuji Pillay, I.A.S. (1991), assumes the role of Additional Chief Secretary for the Public Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department, while also taking charge as Chairman of the Vyapam and President of the Chhattisgarh Secondary Education Board.

Meanwhile, Shri Manoj Kumar Pingua, I.A.S. (1994), transitions to the position of Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, relinquishing his previous responsibilities as Additional Chief Secretary for the Home and Jail Department and the Forest Department.

Furthermore, Shri Bhuvanesh Yadav, I.A.S. (2006), temporarily takes on the role of Secretary for the Social Welfare Department, in addition to assuming the duties of Commissioner for the Disabled.
