TFP Bureau, New Delhi, March 20, 2024: In a significant development on Tuesday, the President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu has acknowledged the resignation tendered by Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, thereby marking the conclusion of his tenure as the Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
Additionally, the President of India Smt. Murmu has extended her approval to the appointment of Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, currently serving as the Governor of Jharkhand, to assume the responsibilities of the Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry alongside his existing duties. This interim arrangement is set to facilitate seamless governance until formal arrangements are established.
The transition of responsibilities will come into effect upon Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan assuming office, ensuring continuity and stability in the administrative landscape of Telangana and Puducherry.
