TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 25,2024: In anticipation of the Holi festival, the Municipal Corporation of Raipur has announced additional water supply timings for the convenience of residents. On March 25, 2024, which coincides with the vibrant festival of colors, the Municipal Corporation Water Works Department will provide extra water supply from 3 pm to 4 pm.
Executive Engineer Water of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Mr. Nar Singh Farendra, shared this information, emphasizing the importance of ensuring public convenience during festive occasions. As per the directives of Municipal Corporation Raipur Commissioner, Mr. Abinash Mishra, the decision to enhance water supply aims to accommodate the needs of residents celebrating Holi.
On the day of Holi, the usual morning water supply schedule from 6 am to 7 am will be suspended. Instead, additional water will be sourced from all reservoirs during the afternoon period from 3 pm to 4 pm. Additionally, regular water supply will resume in the evening from 6 pm to 7 pm, with an extended supply timing from 7 pm to 8 pm specifically for Holi day.
This initiative ensures that residents have access to water for their Holi celebrations, with water supply scheduled three times throughout the day. The Municipal Corporation Water Works Department remains committed to providing essential services and facilitating a smooth and enjoyable Holi festival for all residents of Raipur.
