International Conference to Honor Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Legacy and Explore Social Justice in India’s Development Vision

Hidayatullah National Law University to Host Virtual Event on Birth Centenary

TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 28,2024: Hidayatullah National Law University is set to host a landmark one-day International Conference on April 14, 2024, commemorating the birth centenary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the visionary architect of the Indian Constitution. The virtual conference, titled “Facets of Social Justice in the Vision of a Developed India @2047: Harnessing Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Legacy,” aims to delve into the profound legacy of Dr. Ambedkar and its relevance in shaping India’s journey towards a developed and equitable nation by 2047.

The conference will serve as a platform to explore the various dimensions of social justice envisioned by Dr. Ambedkar and examine how his principles can serve as guiding beacons in the pursuit of a more inclusive society. Academicians, scholars, and professionals from across the globe are invited to participate and present their papers on the theme, contributing to the rich repository of academic discourse and resources.

Organized by the Centre for Law & Public Health, Centre for Infrastructure Laws, Centre for Law & Indigenous People, and Centre for Law & Language, the event falls under the purview of the School of Law & Public Policy and School of Law & Humanities, established within the Research Hub and Spoke (R-Has) Model.

Participants interested in presenting their research are required to submit abstracts by April 2, 2024, followed by the submission of full working papers by April 12, 2024. Registration for the conference can be done online on or before April 10, 2024, ensuring broad participation and engagement in this significant academic endeavor.
