TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 29, 2024: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai unveiled a significant update regarding the second installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, announcing its disbursement on April 1. This state initiative entails providing Rs 1000 per month to women, with the first installment having been transferred on March 7.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the Chhattisgarh government remains steadfast in its commitment to women’s empowerment, exemplified by the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Embracing the tradition of gifting women during Teej festivals and joyous occasions, the government continues this legacy through the scheme.

Married women across the state are entitled to receive financial aid amounting to Rs 1,000 per month, totaling Rs 12,000 annually, deposited directly into their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This initiative stands as a testament to the government’s dedication to fostering women’s welfare and economic independence.
