TFP Bureau, Raipur; March 31, 2024: As the Lok Sabha Elections-2024 progress into its second phase, the nomination process kicked off on March 28 for three crucial Lok Sabha constituencies in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker, Rajnandgaon, and Mahasamund. On Saturday, Shri Sonsingh, representing the Ambedkarite Party of India, officially submitted his nomination papers for the Kanker Lok Sabha constituency.
Under the second phase, aspiring candidates for Kanker, Rajnandgaon, and Mahasamund constituencies have been invited to file their nominations from March 28 to April 4, between 11 am to 3 pm on office days, excluding public holidays. The scrutiny of these nominations is scheduled for April 5, with the deadline for withdrawal set for April 8, 2024. Voting in these constituencies will take place on April 26, marking a crucial juncture in the electoral process.
Meanwhile, the first phase of Lok Sabha Elections-2024 witnesses intense competition in the Bastar Lok Sabha constituency, with a total of 11 candidates vying for the electorate’s support. Scheduled for April 19, the voting date for Bastar reflects the electorate’s anticipation and engagement in the democratic process.
