Officials Exchanging the MOU Document
TFP Bureau, New Delhi, March 31, 2024: In a significant move towards advancing research and development in the energy sector, the National Power Training Institute (NPTI) and PTC India Ltd. have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE). This CoE will serve as a focal point for conducting research and development activities with a keen focus on promoting sustainable development goals in the energy domain.
The collaboration aims to leverage the expertise of both entities to address key challenges and explore opportunities for sustainable growth in the power sector. The outcomes of the CoE’s research initiatives will be disseminated widely to industry stakeholders, with a special emphasis on training and capacity building.
The MoU signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Power office in New Delhi on March 28, 2024. Dr. Tripta Thakur, Director General of NPTI, and Ms. Koel Singhal, Senior Vice President (HR) of PTC India Ltd., sealed the agreement in the presence of Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Government of India.
This strategic partnership underscores the commitment of both NPTI and PTC India Ltd. to drive innovation, foster knowledge sharing, and contribute towards achieving sustainable development goals in the energy sector.
