Quality Inspection Underway for Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana

TFP Bureau, Raipur; April 15, 2024: Chhattisgarh is set to receive a visit from the National Quality Reviewer tasked with inspecting the quality of roads being constructed under the Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). Shri Salve Vivek Bhaurao will oversee inspections in Surguja, Raigad, and Janjgir Champa districts, while Shri Ram Prakash Singh will focus on Kondagaon and Narayanpur districts, and Shri Bimal Kumar Tikku will assess Bijapur and Sukma districts.

The visit aims to ensure adherence to quality standards in the ongoing construction of rural roads, a critical component of the PMGSY initiative aimed at improving connectivity and infrastructure in remote areas. The National Quality Reviewer’s assessments will play a crucial role in verifying compliance with construction norms and facilitating the delivery of durable and efficient road networks across Chhattisgarh.

This inspection underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing rural infrastructure and promoting accessibility, fostering socio-economic development in rural communities through the PMGSY program.
