TFP Bureau, Bilaspur; April 18, 2024: The issue of 30 out of 47 students failing in class 11 at Swami Atmanand School is gaining traction, with students appealing to the Bilaspur Collector to investigate the circumstances of their failure. Students allege that the decision to use handwritten question papers, despite their opposition, led to the mass failure.
The students, under the leadership of NSUI, approached the Collector to address their concerns and demanded a re-evaluation of their answer sheets. They claim that despite preparing well for the exams, the school management failed a significant number of students.
Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School is facing criticism for its alleged neglect, with students citing problems arising from the lack of attention from the District Education Officer and Nodal Officer. Despite receiving substantial funds, the school conducted annual examinations using handwritten question papers, prompting protests from students.
The management of Khaparganj School, a branch of Swami Atmanand English Medium School, reportedly failed 30 out of 47 Class 11 Commerce students who protested against the handwritten question papers. The students maintain that they deserved better results.
NSUI has called for the formation of a special team of teachers to review the answer sheets, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the students’ future. They argue that the simultaneous failure of so many students warrants a thorough investigation, with strict action against those responsible.
