TFP Bureau, Rajnandgaon, April 19, 2024: Congress’s Lok Sabha candidate for Rajnandgaon, Bhupesh Baghel, launched a scathing attack on the BJP during his public relations campaign on Thursday, likening their assurances to the reliability of Chinese goods. Addressing the public in Chhuikhadan, Baghel accused the BJP of consistently failing to fulfill its promises, drawing attention to unmet commitments ranging from loan waivers for farmers to financial support for laborers and women.
Baghel highlighted instances where BJP guarantees had fallen short, citing unfulfilled pledges such as loan waivers, financial aid to Panchayats, and promised benefits to laborers and women. He accused the BJP of resorting to falsehoods to gain power.
In contrast, Baghel outlined the Congress’s commitment to ensuring justice and welfare for various segments of society. He emphasized initiatives such as providing financial support to women, creating government jobs for youth, and implementing the Swaminathan Committee’s recommendations to enhance farmers’ income.
During his public engagement, Baghel visited multiple villages including Birutola, Devrachcha, Kumharwada, Kabarkatta, Chobhar, Rampur, Amgaon, Khadi, Bhaji Dongri, Devpura, Mohgaon, Pahari Manpur, Palmyatta, Thakurtola, Jeeratola, Sandi, Pandariya, Road Ataria, and Sakha.
Accompanying Baghel were local Congress leaders including Khairagarh District President Gajendra Thackeray, MLA Yashoda Nilambar Verma, former MLA Girwar Janghel, Padma Singh, Gulshan Tiwari, Brijesh Yadav, Ramkumar Patel, and other senior party members.
